How much does a small business website cost in Fredericton?

My websites cost under $1,000, one-time. You get a fixed quote before any work starts, so there are no surprises. Hosting is free for the first year and $250 a year after that.

I already have a Facebook page. Why do I need a website too?

Facebook is good for keeping in touch with people who already follow you. A website is how new customers find you on Google and through AI assistants like ChatGPT. It's also yours, so Facebook can't change the rules on you. Most businesses do best with both, with Facebook pointing people to the website.

How long does it take?

Usually one to two weeks from our first chat to going live. Most of that is waiting on photos and details from you, so it can be faster if you're ready to go.

Do I need to know anything technical?

No. I handle the domain, hosting, setup, and all the technical bits. You tell me about your business and I take it from there.

What do I need to provide?

Your business name, what you offer, where you work, your hours, and how people should contact you. A logo and a handful of photos help a lot. If you don't have good photos, we can work around it.

What happens after the first year?

Hosting is $250 a year after the first free year. That keeps your site online, secure, and fast. If you ever want to leave, I'll help you move it. You're never locked in.

Can I make changes later?

Yes. Send me a message when your hours, prices, or services change and I'll update it. Small updates are quick.

Will I show up first on Google?

Nobody can honestly promise that. What I can promise is that your site will be built so Google can read it properly, with your services and service area clearly stated. Combined with a Google Business Profile and your reviews, that gives you a much better shot than a Facebook page alone.

Do I own my website?

Yes. Your domain is registered in your name, and the content is yours.

Can we meet in person?

Yes. I'm based in Fredericton and happy to meet over coffee, at your shop, or on a job site. A phone or video call works too if that's easier.

Will my website help me show up in local searches?

That's what it's built for. Your site will clearly say what you do and which communities you serve, like Fredericton, Oromocto, or New Maryland, so Google and AI assistants can match you to people searching nearby. Pairing it with a Google Business Profile and a few reviews makes a big difference.

I'm not in Fredericton. Can you still help?

Probably. I focus on Fredericton and surrounding communities like Oromocto, New Maryland, Hanwell, and Nackawic, but I'm happy to work with businesses anywhere in New Brunswick.
